UCAS & Beyond 18

At Roding Valley, our Beyond-18 curriculum starts from the beginning of students' sixth form journey. Whether the student aspires to go to University, or to go directly into the world of work, we will support them every step of the way. 

Our university programme includes trips to university campuses, in-school talks from visiting universities, tips for personal statement writing and individual UCAS submissions with the Director of Sixth form and much more. Our Careers programme includes weekly employer talks, CV writing workshops, careers festivals and dedicated careers advice from our careers advisor, among other things. 

Each year we have students who go on to top tier universities and highly competitive apprenticeships. We are proud of each of them and utilise them for future Beyond-18 events as part of our alumni network.
