Parents Forums

In 2010, the school set up the Roding Valley Parents’ Forum. Meeting every half term, the purpose of the Forum is as a way to increase partnership between parents and the school. As a result of the meetings, parents have a greater understanding of the way the school operates but also the school gets a parental perspective on a number of issues and allows parents to contribute to the strategic direction of the school.

The meetings are informal and are attended by the Headteacher and members of the Senior Leadership Team. Recent meetings have looked at improving communication between home and school and reporting to parents. The meetings are extremely popular and any parent is welcome to attend.

The meeting dates for the Academic Year 2017-2018 are:

  • 16th October
  • 4th December
  • 29th January
  • 19th March
  • 14th May
  • 25th June

All meetings start at 6pm in the Main Hall in the School.
