Science Technician

We are looking for an individual with a good knowledge and practical experience of working as a Science Technician, preferably in a school setting to join our Science department of three technicians.

The successful applicant will work with the team to ensure that Science lessons are prepared well, equipment are maintained to a high standard, ensuring the safety of students at all times. In addition, the successful applicant will ideally have experience of working with young people and be capable of working flexibly within a strong and supportive team and have the willingness and ability to learn and develop further in the role.

The working times are 8:15 to 4:15 daily, term time and consideration will be given to part time working.

Finance Assistant

 An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our enthusiastic team of staff and fantastic children. We are looking to appoint an experienced, hardworking and committed Finance Officer as soon as possible for 20 hours per week (pattern to be agreed).

You will join a team of 4 who are responsible for the smooth running of the financial systems in the school and for managing personnel matters. We offer a positive and thriving school environment, a great team of staff and a commitment to continuing professional development.

Caretaker

Ideally wanted for a Jan 2019 start
Salary £19,529 – 23,968 (actual)
37 hours a week, Split shifts/weekend working                                                                          

This is a great opportunity for an individual with general all round maintenance skills, and a “can do” attitude. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within caretaking/property maintenance environment and be familiar with carrying out a variety of different duties across multiple sites and possibly on a split shift basis. We are looking for hands on, proactive, responsible and safety conscious person who is self-motivated and resourceful.

The post holder will be supported by the Premises Manager and will complete a team of 5 but must have excellent maintenance/DIY skills, and the ability to demonstrate working both independently and as part of a team.
