37hrs per week, 52 weeks per year with 22 days paid holiday entitlement plus bank holidays

Salary £16,647 – £18,259
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated person who would like to provide a key role in maintaining our school site, to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for the whole school community. The school buildings are open from 6am until 10:30pm all year except the Christmas holiday period when the school is closed for two weeks.
Duties will include:
· Lock and unlock the school and carry out security checks on the building
· Supporting the maintenance of property and grounds including liaising with contractors
· Experience of DIY and ability to carry out minor repairs, general maintenance and decorating competently
· Willingness to attend training courses including Health and Safety
· Undertake cleaning duties when required
Previous experience would be beneficial but training will be provided. The successful candidate will be required to act as a key holder.
The hours of working areMonday to Thursday 12:15pm- 8:15pm, one day at the weekend to meet the schools requirements. Fridays off. There is an expectation of reasonable additional hours to be worked at relevant pay rates.

EXAMINATION INVIGILATORS REQUIRED
Roding Valley High School is currently looking to expand our team of Invigilators for the forthcoming and subsequent examination sessions and is looking for efficient, flexible and well organised people. The role involves overseeing and supervising examinations and ensuring awarding bodies guidelines and regulations are followed.
There are also internally scheduled examinations held throughout the school year where you will be required. Hours will be on a varied/ad-hoc basis, held throughout a school day. We do ask that you can commit to working 8-10 hours (per week if required) during exam periods. There will be appropriate training for successful candidates.
